The mute, perpetually smiling Imprint was an agent of the mysterious Medusa Web sent with his associate Troublemaker to learn about the abilities of the members of Psi-Force. While Troublemaker engaged them in combat, he watched and 'recorded' everything that occurred and transmitted it all to his employers. Imprint was the only one of the Medusa Web's paranormal operatives who was normally considered too valuable to be allowed to go into combat.
